Types
Traditionally closing
One of the most common types of wooden interior doors is the traditionally closing wooden door. When the door is closed, the locking latch in the case is activated and the door and the door frame fit tightly together, preventing wind, cold, dust and noise from entering the room. This closure method is also a safe and effective solution.
Sliding doors running in the wall, pocket sliding
The door moves with the hardware in the doorway that is covered by a plasterboard or other built-up wall. The advantage is that the wall system can be designed very aesthetically, and the sliding door in the wall can be concealed when opened - with the same movement.
Sliding doors gliding parallel to the walls
In this case, the sliding doors are not built into the wall, but run alongside it. The sliding doors in front of the wall are supported on top by a hardware, which is aesthetically covered by a wooden frame. The big advantage is that any wall opening can be retrofitted for the sliding door, as it is a space-saving solution, and in this case the thickness of the wall does not matter.

Yes, we do manufacture wooden thresholds, but automatic threshold is an option for interior door as well, which is recessed into the bottom edge of the door, invisible, but hermetically seal the gap under the door when it is closed, and the passage between rooms remains unobstructed.

In order to ensure that your interior doors remain in good working order for a long time, it is recommended that you carry out the following maintenance work once a year:
1.) Check that the hardware and locks are working properly and without problems.
2.) The condition of the bolts that secure the hardware should be checked. Broken bolts should be replaced and loose bolts retightened.
